Sherlice obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Accounting at Mills College. While at Mills College, she fell deeply in love with the Bay Area and the businesses that make the Bay Area unique. Prior to founding TL2, she began her professional career with KPMG in the Assurance department. After leaving KPMG, she was the controller at a Bay Area construction company where she learned the needs and constraints that face a company when growing from small to mid-size. She returned to public accounting to deploy the outsourced accounting service line at DZH Phillips, a Bay Area regional CPA firm. Sherlice returns to a small, boutique firm to offer specialized, high touch services to small to medium size clients. After spending six years at large firms, Sherlice realized she wanted to start a small firm to service clients as helping small businesses succeed is her passion.

Having grown up on a family farm in Southern California, she has a profound appreciation for nature and family business. When not at work she is an avid crafter and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. She is involved with the Salvation Army and volunteers her time restoring the Garden Street center in Oakland. She is also shamelessly addicted to bad reality TV.
